Member Highlight
Sister Patricia Chen has been teaching our CTR 5 class for the past two years, and her impact on our young children has been remarkable.
Each Sunday, she arrives early to prepare engaging lessons that bring the gospel to life through songs, activities, and stories that resonate with 5-year-olds. Parents consistently share how their children come home excited to talk about what they learned in Sister Chen’s class.
Beyond her Sunday service, Sister Chen has organized special activities for her class, including a service project where the children made cards for senior ward members and a family home evening where parents could see the teaching methods she uses.
Her dedication extends to personally reaching out to each child’s family, ensuring that children who are absent receive a note or small treat to remind them they are missed. Sister Chen’s creativity, love, and commitment exemplify Christlike service.
